McAllen ISD, in partnership with the Texas Dept. of Agriculture, announces the sponsoring of free nutritious meals at participating feeding sites for summer 2026.
There are 38 sites around McAllen including schools, Boys & Girls Club sites, worship centers and others. In addition, there are 21 Meals on Wheels sites (where school buses bring meals into identified neighborhoods), for a total of 59 locations.Â
This free program is for children ages 1-18. All meals must be consumed on-site and children must be present.
