South Padre Island, Texas — Fortunate Son, celebrated as the world’s most authentic tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), will perform live in concert on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Cameron County Amphitheater on South Padre Island.

Known as the longest-running CCR tribute act, Fortunate Son brings the unmistakable sound, energy, and spirit of the legendary 60s rock band to audiences across the nation. Their Labor Day Weekend performance promises a vibrant “60’s Summer Splashback” filled with timeless classics and unforgettable moments.  Adam Micheals with Avenue of the Stars, LLC, stated that “fans can expect an evening filled with CCR favorites showcased with authenticity and skill—celebrating classic songs that have defined generations”.

Tickets on Sale now, at www.TIXPLUG.com.   This show is a General Admission ticket, no reserved seating.  Kids 12 years and under, Free. Pre-sale tickets are only $15.  Open stone seating is available on first come first served basis; no-reserved seating. You can also bring your blankets & small folding chairs and enjoy the Amphitheater law!
