Texans need meaningful property tax reduction, and this May we will vote on two constitutional amendments that if approved will provide tax relief.

The project was first launched in 2021 and involved students reading books of their choice and then responding to the text by using technology such as Flipgrid, screen capture software, and Canva for graphic design. As part of a final product, students designed a food truck based on the themes and content in their books.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to be here. I have this man to thank,” said Edinburg resident Jaime Cavazos, “[Officer Garcia’s] actions and what he did for me saved my life. Had it not been for him applying the tourniquet at the time it was, I don’t think I would be here.”

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents and local law enforcement partners interdicted two migrant stash houses, two large groups, and encountered a vehicle crash and resulting vehicle fire.

Rio Grande Valley Sector agents arrested a Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) and a 18th Street gang member and two convicted sex offenders.

The Governor was joined for the roundtable by representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Bexar County Sheriff's Department, the Texas Anti-Gang Center, the Metro Police Department, and Southside ISD.

Million Air, a private aviation service provider from Houston, Texas, will establish a fixed base operation (FBO) at the Laredo International Airport, estimated to open in late 2022.
