This year marks the highest number of Gilman Scholarships awarded to students since the first UTRGV applications were submitted in 2017. UTRGV sends 18 Students Abroad with help from Gilman Scholarship

Eighteen UTRGV students from across the Rio Grande Valley have been awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to fund their studies abroad this summer.
“Permanent Art Collection: New Works” will be on display starting June 19 and will run through Aug. 9.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and press conference to officially celebrate the arrival of Air Med 1, a Bell 407 rotor (helicopter) ambulance, has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the South Texas International Airport at Edinburg, according to Hidalgo County EMS/South Texas Air Med.
