The Miss Texas World America Organization and Texas Beauty With a Purpose
The Miss Texas World America and Miss Texas Teen World America winner will proceed to the National Pageant in Las Vegas in September 2019. The National winner of the Miss competition will move on to Miss World.
The Miss Texas World America pageant is open to single unmarried young ladies living in Texas. The pageant divisions are as follows: Miss Texas Teen World America for contestants ages 13-18 and Miss Texas World America for contestants ages 16.5 to 26.
The Miss Texas World America Organization and members of the pageant Committee are looking forward to the upcoming pageant and are very excited to meet all the contestants. A Texas Red White and Blue Welcome Party for all contestants and their family members will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Miss Texas World America host hotel, Cambria Hotel McAllen Convention Center, 701 S. Ware Road, McAllen.
Contestants will compete in a 1.) Charity Project Competition- Texas Beauty With a Purpose, 2.) Top Model Evening Gown, 3.) Influencer Social Media Race, 4.) Sports competition, 5.) Fitness Wear competition, 6.) Leader Interview competition, and an optional 7.) Talent and 8.) Entrepreneur competition. Additional awards will be given to the Most Photogenic contestant and The Yellow Rose of Texas (Miss Congeniality)
Winners will be awarded a Crown, Sash, and flower bouquet. The winner of the sports competition will receive a RNR Fits outfit from the national sportswear partner RNR Fits. The 2019 Miss Texas World America and Miss Texas Teen World America will receive a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent the State of Texas at the Miss World National Pageant in Las Vegas in September 2019.
Started in 1951, Miss World has inspired and empowered thousands of young women to use their talents to support the poor, sick and disadvantaged through its ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ charitable program. The longest-running international pageant, Miss World is not just a traditional beauty pageant, but rather a platform for women from across the globe to raise awareness and funds in aid of humanitarian causes. The organization prides itself on its philanthropic focus with millions of dollars being raised for good causes every year.
Delegates from 130 countries are scheduled to arrive in Thailand in November with the final ceremony to be held in December 2019. During their month in Thailand they will participate in a string of preliminary activities and visit the most spectacular tourism sites across the country as well as take part in ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ fundraising activities to help good causes in Thailand.
The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be telecast globally to over 100 countries, where viewers will watch as the reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, who was crowned in China, pass the crown to the 69thMiss World in Thailand. Local organizer TW Pageants has been appointed to be the hosting partner for Miss World 2019 Final.
The Miss Texas World America organization is offering At Large City, County, Area and State titles for Miss Texas World America Princess ages 5-6, Little Miss Texas World America ages 7-9, Miss Texas World America Preteen ages 10-12, and Miss Texas World America Jr. Teen ages 13-14. Also available are Mrs., Ms., Miss and Teen at large titles for city, county, area and State titles.
Applications for the at Large titles will be selected based on an application and contestant interview. The selected applicants will begin their reign after the coronation ceremony in May 2019.
