As part of an ongoing effort to support higher education, the Terracon Foundation presents university grants for graduate-level scholarships, fellowships, and programs in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  Terracon Pharr is pleased to announce that the Terracon Foundation has awarded $5,000 to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

The Terracon Graduate Scholarship in Engineering will be given to a master’s level engineering student who is enrolled full-time and is in good academic standing. These funds can relieve some of the financial burden on students and their families while attending college.  “The graduate student supported by Terracon will go on to do amazing work.  We are a happening college and a career in Engineering provides a path to a better life.” -Dr. Alexander Domijan, Professor and Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, UTRGV
