McALLEN, Texas – The South Texas College Library Art Gallery is inviting community members to submit food-themed artwork and recipes for its 6th Annual Art & Memory Conference. Artwork must be submitted and delivered by August 12, 5 p.m.
The annual call for artwork offers community artists, students, alumni, faculty and staff the opportunity to exhibit their work professionally for library visitors of all ages.
This year’s theme, focused on food, connects to stories, memories and experiences tied to food, including farming, food production and shared meals. Participants may submit one artwork and/or one recipe per person in any medium.
Artwork must be delivered to the STC Pecan Campus Library Building F, Room F-235 by August 12.
