Sarai Cantu, 39, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026. Mrs. Cantu is survived by her husband, Daniel Fermin Cantu; four children, Jeylisse Fierro, Mia Pierro, Victor Fierro, Leonidas Can-tu; parents, Victor and Maria Lopez; two siblings, Cindy Lopez, Isai Lopez; maternal grandparents, Basilio and Maria De Jesus Rivas; aunt, Susie Rivas; and numerous other aunts and uncles.

Texas Border Business McALLEN, Texas – McAllen Police were contacted on May 10 at 12:06AM to check a residence on the 3100 block of ScenicWay, in McAllen, after they “noticed underage drinking.” Responding Officers made contact with the homeowners and observed “several bottles of alcohol, cans of alcoholic beverages and blacksolo cups that were all open and containing alcohol.” Several minors were detained for further investigation of alcohol violations.
