With 40 poets from all over Latin America, moving art exhibits and music, among other surprises, attendees will experience poetry and art as they have never seen before. Attendees will get a chance to meet renown poets such as Philadelphia's Poet Laureate, the Puerto Rican Raquel Salas, or the award-winning, international Colombian author, Carlos Aguasaco, whose work has been translated into Portuguese, Italian and Arabic.  They will also get to meet agents of change like the creator of "Treguas de Paz" Mónica Lucía González, The FEIPol festival will close with the viral sensation Reneé Goust, a singer and songwriter, straight from New York.

Taiwo Abraham, an international graduate student from Nigeria in the UTRGV Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship, is the winner of the prestigious James R. Snyder International Student Paper of the Year Award, EMEA Region 2018. Sponsored by the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation, the competition recognizes a research paper that shows excellence in student development of concepts in project management. The winning selection is based on the research and creative effort that best advance the concepts, tools and techniques of managing project-oriented tasks. Abraham’s paper is titled “PMP Longevity: Implementation Phase Inputs and PMO-Operations Management Integration.” This summer, Abraham was hired for a project management role by Horizant Solutions in Ottawa, Canada.
