McALLEN, Texas – The McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the McAllen Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will host the Man & Woman of the Year Gala: “La Catrina,” a binational celebration inviting family and friends from both sides of the border to join through sponsorships and table purchases, while honoring two individuals for their outstanding contributions to the City of McAllen and its community. The theme honors “La Catrina,” a century-old Mexican icon tied to Día de los Muertos, the tradition of remembering loved ones who are no longer here.

WHY: This is the McAllen Chamber of Commerce’s largest fundraiser, providing funding for the Chamber’s small business and workforce development programs throughout the year.
