MISSION, Texas – Hidalgo County Precinct 3 is proud to announce that its Road & Bridge Department has been recognized with the Hidalgo County Urban County “Quick Draw” Award for the 5TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR!. The award honors outstanding efficiency and excellence in project funding utilization and program execution.
Receiving this recognition for five straight years reflects Precinct 3’s continued commitment to responsible stewardship of public resources and the timely completion of infrastructure improvement projects that directly benefit residents.
“Our Road & Bridge employees are the driving force behind this achievement,” said Commissioner Everardo “Ever” Villarreal. “Their dedication, professionalism, and hard work—often in extreme South Texas weather conditions—have allowed us to consistently deliver quality street improvement projects while maximizing available funding opportunities.”
The award also highlights the department’s ongoing efforts to improve and maintain roads throughout Precinct 3, enhancing safety, mobility, and quality of life for the community.
Commissioner Villarreal expressed his appreciation to every member of the Road & Bridge Department for their unwavering commitment to public service.
