LA JOYA, Texas – The excitement of a new school year is here as La Joya ISD prepares to welcome thousands of students back to classrooms for the 2026-2027 school year. Students attending ACE campuses will begin classes on Monday, August 10, while all remaining La Joya ISD campuses will welcome students on Tuesday, August 11.
From first-day smiles and classroom reunions to new teachers, fresh opportunities, and exciting learning experiences, the start of the school year marks another important step in La Joya ISD’s commitment to ensuring Educational Excellence is the Right of Every Student.
Throughout the summer, district staff worked diligently to prepare classrooms, campuses, transportation services, instructional resources, and student support systems to ensure a successful start to the school year.
La Joya ISD looks forward to welcoming students, staff, and families back as the district continues working toward its vision of preparing every student for success in college, career, and life.
