Texas Border Business
The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce recently named HomeStay Inn & Suites as its July Featured Businesses of the Month. The selected business, organization, or individual is recognized for their outstanding service, commitment and contribution to the community by the Chamber Ambassador Committee. Ajay and Jacky Patel, owners of HomeStay Inn & Suites, were honored with a presentation of a certificate by a Chamber Ambassador and were given our Business of the Month sign to display in front of their business for the month selected.
The Patels and their family have been business owners in Edinburg for more than 35 years. Ajay’s father owned the Amigo Hotel before it was torn down. The family decided to revamp the busy corner and reinvest in the Edinburg community with the new thirty-one room facility.
