Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector Border Patrol agents disrupted four migrant smuggling attempts that resulted in 73 arrests. In one of the smuggling incidents, a migrant smuggler collided with a school bus while attempting to evade arrest.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Hidalgo International Bridge apprehended Dionisio Perez Campos, a male United States citizen from Mission, Texas who had an arrest warrant associated with child-related sex crimes.

HIDALGO, Texas—U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Hidalgo International Bridge apprehended Carlos Giles, a U.S. citizen from McAllen, Texas who had an arrest warrant for child fondling.

Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activity to the U.S. Border Patrol while remaining anonymous by calling 1-800-635- 2509.
