Ford Sasser, the current President and CEO of Rio Bank will remain the CEO of the bank and will become Vice Chairman of the Board.

The endowment will be funded annually over the next five years, with each annual payment matched by UTRGV to establish a total endowment of $10 million by 2026. 

“I am really excited for the spring schedule because we are trying to move the program towards more consistency and more wins,” UTRGV head coach West Nott said.

The match at TCU will be the first of 21 matches this spring leading up to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament which will be hosted by Lamar University from April 22-24 in Beaumont.
