Mission, Texas- Three students from Mission High School (MHS) have earned a chair in the Texas Music Educators Association 6A All-State Band. This is considered the highest level of achievement for any music student in the state of Texas.

AUSTIN - Governor Greg Abbott today held a roundtable discussion alongside healthcare professionals at Houston Methodist Hospital to highlight his legislative priorities to ensure a healthier future for the state of Texas. Following the roundtable, the Governor provided an update on the State's COVID-19 vaccination efforts. Luis R. Zamora has been promoted to Director of Real Estate Services for Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI). Mr. Zamora, who has been serving as interim director for the last several months, had been Real Estate Services Manager with AHSTI since 2015.

The Edinburg Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two suspects involved in an aggravated robbery last week. On Monday January 11, 2020 just after 6:30 p.m, officers were called to the 1900 block of N. Sugar Rd in reference to an aggravated robbery at the Sugar Grocery Store.
