McALLEN, Texas – Workforce Solutions joined the Disability Chamber of Commerce – RGV, McAllen Economic Development Corporation, and McAllen Chamber of Commerce in hosting the 2026 Employer HireAbility Forum on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.

The forum brought together employers, business leaders, workforce professionals, and community organizations committed to strengthening the regional workforce through inclusive hiring practices and expanding employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The Employer HireAbility Forum aligns with statewide efforts to promote workforce inclusion and educate employers about the benefits of hiring qualified individuals with disabilities. Through collaboration and shared best practices, employers gained actionable tools to create more accessible workplaces while addressing workforce needs across industries.
