ALAMO, Texas – Traffic on westbound Interstate 2 (I-2) will be temporarily diverted from the main lanes to the frontage road in Alamo, Tuesday, August 4, for a crash investigation.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) will conduct a crash reconstruction test skid for a crash that occurred June 19, on I-2 at the Tower Road overpass.

Crash investigators plan to close the expressway at approximately 10 a.m. The skid test is expected to take no more than an hour.
