EDINBURG – Health officials reported six more deaths and 204 new positive cases related to COVID-19 on Tuesday, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Wednesday. There are now a total of 1,940 recorded deaths related to the outbreak of this disease and 35,485 known positive cases. 

“As we get close to Halloween, I encourage residents of Hidalgo County to play it safe. Avoid large crowds and wearing facial coverings,” Judge Cortez said. “Six more families are mourning the loss of loved ones. My condolences go out to all of them.”
