State Representative R. D. “Bobby” Guerra (D-McAllen) officially filed his candidacy for re-election and he released the following statement:

“Since first being elected to serve my community in the Texas House of Representatives in 2012, the Rio Grande Valley has experienced tremendous growth and success. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of House District 41, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue that work and advocate for the people of South Texas.”
