RIO GRANDE VALLEY – Collegiate Baseball announced on Monday that, for the second week in a row, junior right fielder Freddy Rojas Jr. of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team is one of its national players of the week.

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol successfully disrupted human smuggling operations throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents encountered two large groups of illegal aliens. Yesterday, McAllen Border Patrol agents working near Penitas, Texas, encountered a group of 99 illegal aliens shortly after they made entry into the United States. The group consisted of 78 family members and 20 unaccompanied alien children (UACs). Six of the UACs in this group were under the age of 13.

Auditions for six youthful, fun characters, to be held April 1-2, on zoom, for PCT’s next production, a semi-musical comedy called Bird Brains. The play was written by PCT’s artistic director, Pedro Garcia, and is about Fernando, a great Kiskadee who lives in the beautiful RGV.
