RGV deployed additional agents and resources to the area and are working diligently with other law enforcement entities to identify and apprehend the individuals.

The driver and the undocumented non-citizen were both arrested pending criminal proceedings.

The narcotics and vehicle were seized by CBP and the driver was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations special agents to face charges in connection with the failed smuggling attempt.
