The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Miss Weslaco Pageant, which was produced by J. Nava Studios and was held Sunday, January 28, at the WISD Performing Arts Center.
Laryssa Garcia, a junior at Weslaco East High School, was crowned as the 61st Miss Weslaco. First Runner Up was Vica Guerra, while Ashlee Ebarb was named 2nd Runner Up. Both girls are juniors at Weslaco High School.
Lia Romero was crowned as the 5th Little Miss Weslaco, while Melanie Trevino was named 1st Runner Up and Annette Trevino was named 3rd Runner Up.
Miss Weslaco and Little Miss Weslaco 2018 will participate in the 29th annual Texas Onion Fest, Saturday March 24th at Mayor Pablo G. Peña City Park. Miss Weslaco will also represent the City of Weslaco at other chamber events such as ribbon cuttings and ground breakings.
