“I don’t see the value of taking him out of office.” Michigan Rep. Brenda Lawrence appeared on a local radio talk show hosted by Charlie LeDuff  last Sunday and said something that must have made Pelosi and Schiff vomit: “I don’t see the value of taking him out of office.”

Here is her full quote: “We are so close to an election. I will tell you, sitting here knowing how divided this country is, I don’t see the value of taking him out of office. But I do see the value of putting down a marker saying his behavior is not acceptable.”

“It’s in violation of the oath of office of a president of the United States, and we have to be clear that you cannot use your power of the presidency to withhold funds to get a foreign country to investigate an American citizen for your own personal gain. There’s no way around that.”

So, as you can see from her own words, Lawrence’s decision to not vote for impeachment does not make her a fan of the President. But that doesn’t really matter—this is a huge win for POTUS.

The interesting thing about this news is Lawrence represents the 14th district of Michigan, which went blue in 2016.

As members of the House return to their districts this week for the Thanksgiving holiday, don’t be surprised if additional Democrats announce their decision to NOT vote for impeachment. Many of these Reps are serving districts that Donald Trump won, which makes the Schiff Show very unpopular in those parts of the country.

Many Democrats will be feeling the heat over the holiday—and it won’t be from a turkey baking in the oven. The heat will be coming from their constituents.
