McALLEN, Texas — The McAllen Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest wanted in connection with an indecent assault investigation.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at approximately 6:44 a.m., McAllen Police Officers responded to a report of an assault along the Bicentennial Hike and Bike Trail, located in the 6500 block of Bicentennial Boulevard. A female jogger reported to officers that an unknown male approached her from behind, grabbed her, and immediately fled the area on foot.
Surveillance images recovered from the surrounding area captured a male running from the scene.
The suspect is described as:
- Complexion: Light
- Height: Approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall
- Weight: Approximately 150 pounds
- Hair: Medium-length, dark hair
- Clothing: A red or maroon shirt, dark shorts, and dark-colored shoes
