“On behalf of the City of McAllen, City Commissioners, City Staff, and community, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to former Mission Mayor Norberto “Beto” Salinas’ family and friends.  Mayor Salinas was a dear friend, great leader who dedicated his life to public service while serving the Mission community. As our neighboring community, Mayor Salinas contributed throughout his years on several regional projects.  His legacy will live on through his good deeds and friendship.
