Edinburg, Texas – Governor Greg Abbott has announced that the Governor’s Small Business Conference in South Texas will take place in the City of Edinburg. The conference combines and features private and public small business resources, practical solutions, best practices and expert assistance on a broad range of business topics and challenges. The conference will be hosted in partnership with the City of Edinburg, the Edinburg EDC, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and the RGV Partnership and will take place on March 28, 2019, from 8 am to 2 pm at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance (118 Paseo Del Prado, Edinburg, TX 78539).

“The City of Edinburg is proud to partner with Governor Greg Abbott to host this event,” said Edinburg Mayor and Edinburg EDC Board Director Richard Molina. “This will be a great opportunity for our business community from throughout the Rio Grande Valley to come together to network, acquire tools and resources on how to grow and sustain their businesses, and learn about the resources and opportunities available to them through the Governor’s Office, local, regional, state and federal agencies,” he continued.

The forum will provide small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with timely, relevant, actionable advice on how to start, operate, grow and sustain their businesses.
