Palm Valley Animal Society (PVAS) has been named September Member of the Month by the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. The local animal rescue provides lifesaving care, comfort, and compassion to animals in need by engaging the hearts, hands, and minds of our community.

The chamber will celebrate PVAS 15-year membership anniversary by hosting a mixer on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5 P.M. – 7 P.M. at PVAS Laurie P. Andrews Center located at 2451 N. Expressway 281, Edinburg TX.

PVAS serves five municipalities in Hidalgo County, as well as the county at-large. PVAS operates two facilities in Edinburg, TX, taking in approximately 25,000 animals on behalf of 775,000 residents each year. PVAS is on a journey to maintain “no-kill” status, broadly defined as saving 90% or more of the animals that enter into their care.
