BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Adopting the “One City” philosophy, the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation, Cameron County, City of Brownsville, and Greater Brownsville Economic Development Corporation, are pleased to announce that Workforce Solutions Cameron will remain in operation in Brownsville to continue serving Brownsville and Cameron County residents.

The announcement comes as the non-profit organization risked losing their building located at 851 Old Alice Rd., which would have impacted residents seeking various types of assistance. Through a collective effort between the entities mentioned, and Workforce Solutions Cameron, a Memorandum of Understanding was forged, and the building was purchased under new ownership.
