EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg Cultural Arts Department has launched its new ACE Membership Program alongside upcoming Mariachi Guitar classes at the Edinburg ACE Center.
Residents interested in music can now register for a new four-week Mariachi Guitar program. Led by Manuel Lopez, an accomplished guitarist with UTRGV Mariachi Aztlán, the course is tailored for both adult beginners and adult intermediates. The program features eight sessions of comprehensive, twice-weekly instruction. To ensure a high-quality learning environment, capacity is strictly limited to 15 students per session. Acoustic guitars, music stands, and guitar stands will be fully provided for student use during class hours, and the program will culminate in a special live performance where participants can showcase their new skills.
ACE Memberships are also available for purchase online. Residents can visit the new web portal at edinburgarts.comto sign up for memberships and view a comprehensive calendar of educational workshops scheduled through the remainder of 2026. A standard membership unlocks exclusive access to ACE Classrooms for Open Studio use, available Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, premium high-tier memberships offer the added convenience of secure, on-site storage space rentals for instruments and equipment.

ACE Memberships
Flexible membership tiers are available to fit every resident’s needs:
- Trial Membership (Free): Includes mobile app access and online class registration.
- Access Member ($12/mo or $120/yr): Includes early event notifications, early ticket purchases, early event entry, and 20% off all center-sold items.
- Friends & Family Access ($20/mo or $200/yr): Extends all standard Access perks to up to 5 registered individuals.
- Studio Member ($39/mo or $399/yr): Includes all standard Access perks plus unlimited studio access during non-class hours (reservation required). Annual Studio members are also eligible for secure on-site storage for equipment and instruments.
Designed to foster local creativity and cultural appreciation, all proceeds directly support ACE programming.
