Texas Border Business

Boggus Ford-Lincoln McAllen presented the McAllen Chamber of Commerce with a $7,500 check for its 19thAnnual Presidents’ Cup Golf Tournament! The tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 8th at Palm View Golf Course. The tournament will be an 18-hole, three (3) player team, Florida Scramble with a starting field limited to forty-four teams who will be competing for the #1 spot.  Maximum handicap per player is 25. 

Gift certificates from Palm View Golf Course will be awarded to the 1st ($700), 2nd ($600), 3rd ($450) and 4th ($300) place teams.  Other individual prizes for closest to the pin, straightest drive and longest drive will also be awarded. Two Hole in One prizes will be given away; Pebble Beach Golf Vacation for two people and a $7,500 cash prize. Door prizes will be raffled and dinner will be served to all participants during the awards presentation at Palm View Golf Course dining room immediately following the tournament.
