TMAC at UTPA presents performance excellence award to Hi-Tech Plastics

The Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC) at The University of Texas-Pan American presented Hi-Tech Plastics, a custom plastic injection molding company located in Mission, Texas, with a Performance Excellence Plaque Jan. 27 for their commitment in supporting manufacturing growth in the South Texas region.

TMAC has had a partnership with Hi-Tech Plastics for three years and implemented projects that have helped increase the company’s efficiency and reduce its production costs. Hi-Tech Plastics has housed UTPA interns as well as part of its partnership with the university. 

TMAC administrators said the award recognizes the company’s continued commitment, growth and work in this region.
