EDINBURG, Texas – Protect and empower yourself through the Edinburg Police Department’s Women’s Self-Defense Course! Officers within the department will host a 3-day session for women ages 18 and up to teach participants the skills and knowledge they need to defend themselves from potential threats. 

The course, to be held at the CPL Derek Hernandez Police Training Facility (1313 N. Doolittle Road), will begin on June 1 and continue through June 3. Each session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. 

Those interested in participating can visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RADJune123 to register. Those who have already signed up for the course should wear comfortable clothing and footwear in preparation for hands-on training.
