McALLEN, Texas – Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use caution as the southbound right lane of 10th Street will be closed from approximately 880 feet north of Fullerton Avenue to approximately 150 feet south of the 10th Street Bridge.

The lane closure is scheduled to begin Monday, June 15, 2026, and remain in effect through Friday, June 26, 2026, as part of Traffic Control Phase 3 for the McAllen Lateral Channel Improvements project.

Drivers are encouraged to anticipate delays, reduce speed in the work zone, and seek alternate routes when possible. Following posted traffic control measures will help ensure the safety of motorists and construction crews throughout the project.
