PHARR, Texas — The Pharr Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center (ECC), will host Doing Business in Pharr, an upcoming business roundtable designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners better understand how to start and grow within the city.
The session will take place Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Pharr Global Business Hub, 301 S. Cage Blvd.
Featuring participation from the City of Pharr, including representatives from the Development Services Department and the Building and Code Enforcement Department, this practical roundtable will provide attendees with insights into zoning, permits, regulations and incentives available to support business development and expansion.
Hosted in collaboration with UTRGV ECC and Pharr EDC, the event offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with decision-makers and resource partners invested in local business success.
Attendees will explore how to navigate local processes while gaining guidance, accessing resources and building direct connections to help launch and grow their businesses in Pharr. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs, ask questions in a supportive environment, and build relationships that can open doors for their business. Light refreshments will be provided.
