EDINBURG, Texas – A festive celebration created with seniors in mind returns to Edinburg! Community members ages 55 and up are invited to join the Parks and Recreation Department for ‘Senior de Mayo’ on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the Jose Nieto and Consuelo Alfaro Robledo Center (El Tule).
The Cinco de Mayo event will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 700 S. Veterans Boulevard. Attendees will be able to enjoy food, a surprise arts and craft, games, low-intensity exercises, Loteria, and more!
Those interested in attending are encouraged to wear workout clothes or their favorite holiday outfit. The event is free of charge. Pre-registration is not required.
