EDINBURG, Texas – Palm Valley Animal Society is excited to announce the return of its Annual C.A.R.E. Summer Camp, a hands-on summer experience designed to inspire compassion and educate the next generation of animal advocates across the Rio Grande Valley.
Standing for Compassion, Advocacy, Responsibility, and Education, C.A.R.E. Camp gives children the opportunity to learn directly from animal welfare professionals while interacting with rescued shelter pets and discovering the lifesaving work happening every day at Palm Valley Animal Society.
Campers will participate in educational activities, enrichment projects, games, behind-the-scenes shelter experiences, and special guest presentations, all centered around animal care and humane education.
Due to strong early interest, registration slots are already beginning to fill quickly.
The first week of camp begins June 1-5, with an additional second week scheduled for July 6 through July 10. Registration is $100 per child for the week.
