The City of McAllen Passport Division and Vitals (Birth & Death Records) Office is offering services on select Saturdays throughout 2026 to better accommodate residents.
The Passport and Vitals Office will open for the first time this year on Saturday, February 7, then again on February 21. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments are required, and all walk-ins are welcome.
During these hours, residents may apply for a U.S. passport book or passport card, both federally accepted forms of identification. Vitals services, including birth and death records, will also be available.

Hours of Operation
Passport Division: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vitals Division 8 a.m. to 12p.m
The kiosk may close before 4 p.m. depending on customer volume, so customers are encouraged to arrive with all required documents. Payment methods include check or money order for passport application fees and cash for processing fees and photos; credit cards are not accepted.
