SAN JUAN, Texas — The Hogg Foundation for Mental Health has selected the San Juan community to participate in its Strengthening the Mental Health of Rural and Rural Border Communities initiative, a multi-year program supporting community-driven efforts to improve mental health, resilience, and overall well-being.

The Boys & Girls Club of Pharr–San Juan will serve as the lead organization for the San Juan collaborative. With over 50 years of service in the PSJA community, the Club brings extensive experience in promoting mental health, preventing challenges, and providing early intervention services for children, youth, and families.

This initiative prioritizes local leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and the inclusion of community members with lived mental health experience, ensuring that solutions reflect the unique strengths, needs, and priorities of San Juan residents.
