EDINBURG, Texas — The Edinburg Police Department invites residents and families to attend its 30th Annual National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Promenade Park Amphitheater, located at 200 W. McIntyre St.
The free community event will offer an evening of food, fun, safety demonstrations, and live entertainment, including performances by Leo Garcia & the Rattlers and The Hot Rodz. Families can also enjoy a carnival, car show, kids’ games, dinosaur rides, a petting zoo, and a variety of local food vendors.
As part of the celebration, free school backpacks and supplies will be available while supplies last. Residents are encouraged to arrive early and take part in this opportunity to kick off the school year while strengthening neighborhood connections and celebrating community spirit with the Edinburg Police Department.
