McALLEN, Texas — McAllen Public Library invites residents to attend its Annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McAllen Public Library, 4001 N. 23rd St.
The free, family-friendly event will bring local healthcare providers and community organizations together in one convenient location to offer health screenings, wellness information and resources that support healthier lifestyles.
Attendees can receive free blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, thyroid, vision, hearing and liver screenings. The event will also feature a blood donation drive, informational booths, giveaways and activities for children and teens.
“The Community Health Fair is an opportunity for residents to take meaningful steps toward better health while connecting with trusted local resources,” said McAllen Public Library Director Kate Horan. “By bringing these services together at the library, we hope to make preventive care and wellness information more accessible for individuals and families across our community.”
The Community Health Fair is open to all residents. No library card is required to attend.
