BROWNSVILLE, Texas — The City of Brownsville and the Brownsville Public Library System will host the annual Back-to-School Fair on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brownsville Public Library – Main Branch, located at 2600 Central Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78520.
The event will provide students and families with free backpacks, community resources, and helpful information to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Upon arrival, attendees will receive a stamp card and are encouraged to visit participating community partner booths to collect stamps. Students who complete the stamp card activity may turn in their completed card to receive a free backpack while supplies last.
Backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with one backpack available per present student who completes the stamp card activity.
