 PHARR, Texas – The City of Pharr and multiple mutual aid agencies responded to a major fire January 1st at Matt’s Cash and Carry in Pharr, Texas. 125 first responders and 15 agencies were on site to assist in the response as a regional effort. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A major incident such as this required a multi-agency response, and city leaders are grateful for the regional effort to respond to this catastrophe.
