McALLEN, Texas – The McAllen Heritage Center will be hosting an afternoon book reading and conversation at a special event, “Stories &Sips” to be held at the museum on Saturday, February 7th from 3pm to 5pm. This unique gathering will feature local and regional authors showcasing their captivating stories and the diverse narratives that shape our culture.
Guests will have the opportunity to engage with authors during the afternoon along with a book signing session, allowing for a deeper connection to the stories and the minds behind them. To enhance the experience, the museum will offer a selection of wine and cheese, further allowing attendees to mingle, discuss their favorite stories, and forge new friendships. The museum galleries displaying McAllen history will be open for our guests.

The MHC is located at 301 S. Main St. at the corner of Main St. and Chicago Ave in the historic former United States Post Office -USPO.
MHC is the only museum dedicated to the preservation of McAllen’s history. Parking will be available in the rear of the building or at the downtown parking garage located at 221 S. 15th St.
