Rep. Cuellar and Department of Justice to Host Law Enforcement Grant Workshop

The office of Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28) will hold a videoconference workshop to share resources and useful information on current and upcoming grants for law enforcement.
The Team Mario Fun Fridays Summer Camp at the UTRGV Edinburg Campus took explorers on a trip into the wild with Animal Adventures last week. The camp provides a range of activities designed for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Here, students visited the UTRGV H-E-B Planetarium to view a short educational film about dinosaurs. The camp takes place every Friday from June 14 to July 12, with each day dedicated to a different theme. The goal is help students with autism develop social skills and have fun. Mission Police Officer Killed in the Line of Duty

The City of Mission and the Mission Police Department are in mourning today. A longtime officer, Corporal Jose Luis “Speedy” Espericueta, was shot and killed on Thurs. June 20, 2019, when he responded to back up an officer on a call for help near Stewart Road and Business 83.
