McAllen, Texas – Village in the Valley (ViVa) is hosting a political debate with mayoral run-off candidates, Javier Villalobos and Veronica Vela Whitacre, on May 25, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The event will be held at BT. Church – McAllen, 2001 Trenton Rd, and is open to everyone. Both candidates will be in attendance to discuss their platform and share their vision for the City of McAllen.Â
If you can not join us in person, the event will be available on Zoom as well as live streamed through Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Villageinthevalleyrgv/. The political debate will feature questions submitted by Village in the Valley members presented by a moderator. The general public is welcome to submit questions through the google form on our website or Facebook page prior to the forum. Questions asked on Zoom during the forum will be addressed as time allows.
