The U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes, in partnership with Kenworth and FASTPORT, gave the keys to a new truck to Jimmy Reddell, a distinguished veteran with 22 years of service in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves.
The Transition Trucking: Driving for Excellence award is an effort to address the nationwide driver shortage and create immediate jobs for transitioning military personnel.
“We are honored to recognize Jimmy Riddell, a 22-year Army veteran, for his service to the country and commitment to excellence in the transportation industry,” said Eric Eversole, president of Hiring Our Heroes. “Kenworth’s tremendous contribution of a T680 will ensure Jimmy’s continued success as an owner operator.”
