McALLEN, Texas — Looking for a fun family event to kick off July 4th festivities? Quinta Mazatlán invites the community to celebrate the season with the Valley Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet on Thursday, July 2, 2026, for an evening of patriotic spirit, community, and live music.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m., with the Brass Quintet performance scheduled from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring friends and family for an unforgettable summer evening featuring the sounds of celebration performed by the VSO’s principal brass musicians.

The ensemble features a talented group of professional performers, educators, and band directors, including Alex Sanso on trumpet, Bryan Morrell on trumpet, Barbara Keller on horn, Jacob Banda on trombone, and Scott Roeder on tuba. Together, the quintet will bring the sounds of summer and celebration to the Rio Grande Valley.
