EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men’s tennis team announced that it will be hosting three Vaquero Tennis Academy Clinics on June 10-13, July 8-11, and August 5-8 at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
Registration for the camps can be completed at https://camps.jumpforward.com/vaquerotennisacademy.
Camps are for kids in grades 6th-12th and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cost of the camps is $80.
Campers will go over stroke technique as well as participate in other fun drills on the court. There will also be sessions for point play among campers while also keeping camp fun with different games.

The camps and academies are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). NCAA rules prohibit representatives of UTRGV Athletics interests (boosters) who are not legally responsible for a prospective student-athlete (grades 7-12) from providing any expenses to attend a showcase, camp or clinic. Violations of this could result in loss of NCAA eligibility for the prospective student-athlete.
