PHARR – Southbound I-69C traffic merging onto westbound I-2 at the Pharr Interchange should anticipate a traffic pattern shift in early to mid-June.
The traffic pattern shift will entail moving the Edinburg-to-McAllen connector lanes of traffic directly onto the westbound I-2 main lanes, closing the westbound I-2 frontage road exit before Sugar Road and closing the westbound I-2 on-ramp after Sugar Road, temporarily.
Adjustments have been made to the schedule to shorten the time the I-2 westbound on-ramp will be out-of-service.
